TF Movie Deep Space Starscream

The only reason I got him was he was 50% off and I was amazed how much I liked the paint deco on a shitty mold like this.

It'll likely never leave the package.

TF Movie Deep Space Starscream is the 2094th Transformer that I've acquired.

TF Movie Mudflap

Micromaster Erector baby! That's what this paint job is! And when I saw it... I had to have it.

I'm not much into random shelf-filling repaints but this one was aimed squarely at me.

The insanely bright yellow and white is just awesome!

TF Movie Mudflap is the 2088th Transformer that I've acquired.

Transformers Movie Bumblebee (Target Cylinder Exlusive)

Well. I guess I'll be keeping him.

This slightly repainted Transformers Movie Bumblebee is the 2035th Transformer that I've acquired.

Transformers Movie Big Daddy

Transformers Movie Big Daddy

So DL had an extra Big Daddy and quite frankly I no longer have the inclination to drive around the frick'n Cowlands looking for a silly toy.

So I bought it off of him.

Transformers Movie Big Daddy is the 2031st Transformer that I've acquired.

Transformers Movie JoltYeah. I had to get him. I was really looking for Big Daddy but alas, he was not to be found.

And the grey and purple goodness just appeals to me so much. I just can't explain it.

Now I will say he'll never be leaving car mode. I can't stand the bot mode on him at all but I do love the car a lot.

I almost bought Stockade and Divebomb but I really didn't want Stockade and Divebomb's paint deco is actually pretty garish.

Oh well... I must now find me the Daddy of Bigness!

Transformers Movie Jolt is the 2030th Transformer that I've acquired.

TF Movie Incinerator (Black) (Takara exclusive)

Damn! I loves the black!

Takara exclusive TF Movie Incinerator is the 2026th Transformer that I've acquired.

TF Zone: Dai Atlas mega pvc - (WonderFest 2007 Exclusive)

I'm gonna rip this to shreads later tonight.

TF Zone: Dai Atlas (WonderFest 2007 Exclusive) is the 2024th Transformer that I've acquired.

TF Movie Fusion Cluster Protoform Starscream (Takara exclusive)

Even still in the packaging he's great! Especially if you have a translucent plastic fetish.

Fusion Cluster Protoform Starscream is the 2023rd Transformer that I've acquired.

Movie Stockade

He wasn't really on my radar but after finding him today he actually may be worth it for his vehicle mode alone.

Alas, I ended up buying him.

I had two of the Real Gear repaints but put them back. Maybe if I find them on clearance later.

Transformers Movie Stockage is the 2019th Transformer that I've acquired.

Movie Incinerator

Transformers Movie Incinerator

Look what I found today.

Actual new crack non-repaint crack that I've wanted.

I'm thinking that once the toyroom is remodeled that some of these jets, planes, and helicopter TFs might best be served suspended from the ceiling.

Transformers Movie Incinerator 2018th Transformer that I've acquired.

Transformers Movie Bumblebee (2008 Camaro)

Spectroscott found me one just before coming down from the North for Pierogi Day.

Transformers Movie Bumblebee 2008th Transformer that I've acquired.

Will Sunstorm be for behind?

Not a mainline figure but it was inevitable wasn't?

Fanboys will now demand Thrust and Dirge.

Thus the great cosmic wheel turns.

Best Buy Exclusive Robot Heroes Cliffjumper and Battle-Damaged Prime

I can't knock small toys.

They both look ok.

And they were the best likely DVD-extra I'd have wanted, with the possible exception of seeing that mini-movie on the Wal-Mart DVD. I figure that'll make it online someday anyway.

Transformers Robot Heroes Movie Cliffjumper and Battle-Damaged Movie Optimus Prime are the 2006th and 2007th Transformers that I've acquired.

Grrr.

If this is indeed the TakaraTomy exclusive repaint of Movie Blackout then I'm mad.

Mad as hell in fact!

Mad as hell but unfortunately I'm still going to have to take it!!!

I totally love him!

Damn! That Japanese Lawson's chain has got a 2nd decent repaint coming out!!!

I still want that metallic 2008 Bumblebee from them!

Grrr...

Why do all the really cool repaints originate elsewhere?!?!

At least the totally great Evac retool will be coming out!

Now that's the way to do a repaint! Add a little sugar with a retooled head and life raft!

You'll be happy to know that I picked up and then immediately put back Recon Barricade and Dropkick.

See.

I'm getting better.

Transformers Rescue Ratchet

Transformers Rescue Ratchet

Now this is the way Ratchet should have looked from the very beginning!

And you can't say to me the movie's green/yellow works better! Not for this character.

I'll give you the Ironhide black but Ratchet has to be this palette!

Transformers Rescue Ratchet is the 2005th Transformer that I've acquired.

Transformers Longarm

Transformers Longarm

I find it extremely funny that the toys I love the most aren't in the movie at all!

Transformers Longarm is the 2004th Transformer that I've acquired.

Can I tell you how much I love this f'n toy!

This guy is fantastic!!!

Movie Final Battle Jazz

Movie Final Battle Jazz

Um.... I think Jin Saotome's Final Battle Jazz is a thousand times better.

Visible spine damage beats bleh repaint/retool in this comparison.

Movie Final Battle Jazz is the the 2001st Transformer that I've acquired.

TF Movie Dreadwing

TF Movie Dreadwing

There's just not a hell of a lot to say about this guy.

TF Movie Dreadwing is the the 1992nd Transformer that I've acquired.

Transformers Movie Jazz (G1 redeco) (bot mode)

Wow! This G1 homage deco really makes what I thought was a rather lackluster toy pop!

That's what my main complaint about the movie toys has really been: boring realistic color palettes!

Now of course, I'm all for that in figures like the Alternators and Binaltechs, but for these smaller hand held mainstream toys, the reduced colors just have been kind of dull.

But Jazz here, he's all special again!

Transformers Movie Jazz (G1 redeco) is the the 1987th Transformer that I've acquired.

Transformers Movie Starscream (Target Exclusive) (botmode)

So later in the day I got another email from Giga telling me Target had a shipment of the G1 deco movie Starscream.

I stopped there after work and got one and after putzing around with him I'm reminded of why I thought this mold totally sucked balls the first time.

Transformers Movie Starscream (Target Exclusive) is the the 1986th Transformer that I've acquired.

A few early movie reviews...

| | Comments (9)

From a movie review (sort of) from Ain't It Cool News...

Well when the lights went down everybody just about shit their pants. You could tell everyone was loving it except for some of the girls. I don't want to be "politically incorrect" but this movie is not for cunts or fairies. It's for REAL MEN so it's about cars, exploding, punching, Michael Bay's gorgeous sunsets, the friendship between Tyrese and Josh Duhamel, etc. Like 300, you'd have to be gay not to get hard from this movie...

Shia Lebouf is not that bad, if you liked Disturbia you will like him. Although the one character I liked was Megan Fox, TOTALLY HOT. I was like "I would jizz all over that!" and everybody agreed that I totally would. When Optimus transformed himself in front of Shia in the alley everybody in the theater just started high fiving each other, even complete strangers. I'm not exaggerating, my hands were sore before it even got to the fight in the city. TOTAL GEEKGASM.

I don't know.

I though it was funny.
