Beer: Trader Joe's Bohemian Lager

Trader Joe's Bohemian Lager

I hadn't tried Trader Joe's "house" beers before but damn if this isn't worth becoming a daily drinking beer here in the House of Love then I don't know what is.

While the dog days of summer are upon us and my time for drinking Corona passes with the seasons, this slightly bitter lager is a find that may be worth exploring more of in the near future.

I highly recommend it for a crisp sharp slightly bitter lager!

Red Stripe

Red Stripe

So after spending many hours shopping for this Sunday's 4th Annual House of Love Cookout, I needed a beer.

And I decided to reacquaint myself with Red Stripe.

And after 2 of them I can truthfully tell you that I forgot how much I like Red Stripe.

There will be many more before the weekend is done and over with.

Czechvar? I barely know her!

Ummm... Czechvar doesn't taste like shit!

So I've moved on to a Czechvar, a slightly more bitter beer than I'm used to but a thousand times better than that Miller swill I just had.

If you like a bitter lager I recommend this Czech lager.

If you are cleaning and packing up your plastic crack, I highly recommend the Czechvar with Tiny Bradshaw conducting in the background.

Miller Chill - awful nasty

I can't recall the reason Giga decided to pick-up a six pack of this but all I have to say is this is an awful beer.

I'm assuming that this is Miller's attempt to cash in on people who normally enjoy Corona and Dos Equis, which are my two beers of choice during the hot summer Cowtown months.

This domestic "mexican style" beer, however, is one awful beer.

Go out, buy a case of Corona, cut up a shitload of limes, and spent the evening with friends while you all sit around bad mouthing Miller Chill and how shitastic it is.

The best I can offer you after trying this beer?

Gordon Biersch Märzen Smooth Auburn Lager

I'm going to take a minute to digress from my usual pointless crap about useless expensive transforming plastic and talk about something more important.

Let's talk about beer shall we?

Or specifically, Gordon Biersch Märzen Smooth Auburn Lager.

Gordon Biersch Marzen Smooth Auburn Lager

Consider this a new review here at PlasticCrackDotNet.

A beer mini-review.

Gordon Biersch Märzen Smooth Auburn Lager is an incredibly fine lager.

I'm shocked at how in less than 24 hours of drinking this lager it has become a favorite of mine.

There's just an incredible amount of flavor and smoothness with just a touch of bitter.

I highly recommend this beer.

Now go buy some Transformers and while you are out, pick up some Gordon Biersch Märzen Smooth Auburn Lager.

Nala wouldn't lie to you.
