DC = Good / Marvel = Bad

Arjun's 3rd Birthday - Lonely Starscream

I found this lonely Legends Animated Starscream on the floor during Arjun's 3rd Birthday party yesterday.

I think I gave it to him.

However, I bought him Brave and The Bold Batman and Red Tornado for his birthday.

I'm trying desperately to turn him to the dark side of DC and get him off the Marvel crack that's he's been getting.

Robots. Who needs 'em.

Of course I know a lot of my readership dropped off way back when I started losing interest and then that movie came along and pretty much wiped out my cares about robots.

However, those of you who may still read this here aging robot blog... what are you guys even interested in TF-wise anymore?

My Cowtown TF friends pretty much are all in the same boat I'm in and have moved onto other things.

But I'm curious what other people who stop by are looking forward to or have made gay robot love to recently.

When repaints look appealing.

I feel horribly guilty that I like that f'n Bruticus Maximus repaint that is at Target.

I don't like it $30 much but I'd probably pay $15 for it.

It is just far more consistently colored than the original.

As a toy it still pretty much sucks.

Oh well.

I guess it caught my eye because there's nothing in my queue other than Henkei Ghost of Starscream whenever he finally ships.

Perfection in transforming robot form.

Henkei Ligier/Rijie (Electro Disruptor exclusive)

Every now and then a Transformer comes along that is in this humble geeks opinion is perfection personified.

And that figure is most definitely now found in the recently released and generally expensive Henkei Ligier Electro Disruptor redeco.

Henkei Ligier/Rijie (Electro Disruptor exclusive)

I am a total whore for monochrome color palettes. And this version gives me that with more love than I ever could have hoped for.

Henkei Ligier/Rijie (Electro Disruptor exclusive)

The tiny splashes of red here and there over a generally translucent figure is just f'n amazing.

Perfection.

Henkei Ligier/Rijie (Electro Disruptor exclusive)

He is totally worth the $100 I spent on him.

He's better than all those ugly ass movie robots that have been released this past few months.

$100 for this version is better than dropping $100 for that ugly ass movie Devastator trash monster.

Henkei Strafe (Japanese Credit Card Exclusive)

Henkei Strafe (Japanese Credit Card Exclusive)

Let's face it. The Cyclonus mold is just too damn iconic to really be repainted into anything else without going "Oh... that's a red and white Canadian or Polish Cyclonus." and nothing more.

But I gotta admit... I like him.

What's really amazing about him is his red chromey goodness against the greyscale packaging. It really pops!

I love him.

But I'm a sucker for certain translucent reissues.

Why the hell don't they sell these in Ohio?

Everybody loves Lemon Vinegar flavored Kit Kats no?

The best part of my recent toy shipment from Japan?

Hydra's inclusion of 2 Lemon Vinegar flavored Kit Kats!

Yes!

"Just wanted you to know that your Henkei Mirage and Strafe have been shipped."

Yes!

And then... there was love.

Hopefully he'll be here soon.

Pay my respects to grace and virtue.

I think I know what may just break this gay robot malaise I'm in.

Alternity figures!

Why didn't I think of this earlier!!!

I don't think he broke.

A slightly cleaner Crack Den

Well the Crack Den is as clean and dedusted as it is gonna get.

A slightly cleaner Crack Den

I can't waste any more time on it.

A slightly cleaner Crack Den

Still shocking to believe that this is only about 10% of my robots.

Yay!

Where The Wild Things Are - Max

I found my incredible Where The Wild Things are statues.

I'm so excited about this film! I may have to put these up in the house somewhere!

Must attempt to clean up disaster.

A disastrous robotarded office.

So you are probably shocked that I've actually did at least 4 posts today.

No. My gay robot malaise has not gone away.

I actually am having a huge cookout/party this weekend and the House of Love IV needs to be cleaned up.

I haven't touched my office/Crack Den in probably 7 months. It is a robot disaster right now.

The 2005 boxed set flew off the shelf one day and sent robots flying. Many bots from the TF Animated shelf took nose dives.

I have no idea what is broken or if there are now pieces lost.

This mess just needs to be made presentable.

No doubt my guests will want to see the sick sight of all the robots.

Obviously, it is no where as sick and twisted as the sight of 2000+ robots back during the old house's Attic of Love days.

The stares and dropped jaws were always awesome when people ascended into the Attic.

6" Titanium War Within Thrust (Target Exclusive)

Found him in a bag under a box. I have no idea when I bought this.
