I know this is severely off-topic but it occurs to me that you never said what you thought about the Battlestar Galactica finale a couple months ago.
I loved it!
Two things I needed more development and an answer or two on:
1. Starbuck's return. It was a cop out to not explain how her viper crashed into a storm vortex several light-years (or more) from 13th Tribe Earth and yet her dead body appears there. The "angel" thing doesn't hold true with that bit. The thinness of story around this whole point bothered me since they ended up using the "let the viewers decide" cop-out since they wrote themselves into a corner.
2. The song! I needed an actual explanation as to why this song was able to be what it was to so many people over so many millenia. No answer to that bothered me.
I loved how they suckered me with 2nd Earth by naming it after the original.
I loved how they made Hera the mitochondrial Eve.
I loved it.
Plus... greatest puke scene ever filmed (Adama early on).
No blogging on new house projects though. I am supremely confident in your ability to tackle these issues in your home. Also, wish you lived closer to to use as repair resource and kick my ass into gear on similar stuff at my place.
