This would be phenomenal with an SLR with the right depth of field settings.

And no. I can't bring myself to refer to this character as Rodimus or Hot Rodimus or Rodimus Major just because Hasbro lost the naming rights to "Hot Rod".

Starscream

I like this pic of Masterpiece Starcream he's done too.

The one I ordered from Captured Prey hasn't arrived yet. I'm pretty sure this has been 'pshopd' a bit since it looks more like anime Starscream than the real figure.

Hasbro said they'd do the real color scheme if they ever choose to release the mold stateside.

Anyway, a good pic. Love the smirk.

This redeco is a thousand times better than the original paint job too.

I like the reflection on the floor here too.

Nice find:)

Actually I'm not a 100% sure on the photoshop'd of the Starscream.. He does actually look like this in bright sunlight. The base color of him seems to suck in the color around him.

Minus the Cockpit glass on mine. Mine is clear but in the book inside the box the sculptor is pictured with the toy and his glass is yellow. I'm starting to wonder if there is some variantcy (is that a word? lol) in the plastic glass. Man I hope not then I'll have to get 2 lol.

I love that reflection too though I'm slightly irritated by the photo because i couldn't get his panels to fit back together properly no matter how hard I tried.

There's no photoshopping. It's just well lit.

My vaginaplay Rodimus came, and in the spirit of the line, and in keeping with your name refusal, I will now on refer to him as Hot Carlimus.

If i didnt need another reason to hate hotrod now he's a pederass as for classics hotrod the communicator looks like the saw blade from the movie

Hey, Senex Prime here!

Thanks for blogging my pix, nice to know they're appreciated. And I can let you know straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak, that there was absolutely no colour correction Photoshopping on the Starscream pic... it's as my camera saw it. Lighting comes from one diffused floor lamp only, which I find gives very dramatic directional lighting... very different from what you get from a light tent!

The initial pics I saw online before the figure was released just looked so different.

I just never saw any of the colors on the body so I figured they weren't even there.

When Aaron Archer said that if Hasbro released the figure it would have G1 colors I assumed that was because it looked so dark grey/blue in the initial photos.

Your pics show the real colors very well. I really did think they were photoshopped since I Archer's comment led me to believe they were so different.

Personally, I think they're fine but I'm still waiting patiently for mine to arrive. Apparently Captured Prey won't ship it until my Autolooper arrives as well.
