Spent a shitload more scratch on more important things this weekend.
Definitely think I'm gonna get the Henkei version.
No Silverbolt... but I did get a crapload 1st floor bathroom shit!

I would have to say that I was suckered into buying Silverbolt myself and now kinda feel cheated. I am not sure how much farther with the Universe line I'm going to go, since their new top level guys are all $25 apiece, and that is going to get expensive if they keep releasing classics at that price point. Siiighhhh, I am having a sneaking suspicion that I won't be buying TF's for very much longer.
I just bought a car. One that doesn't turn into a robot but does lots of other crazy things like OnStar. My TF buying days are numbered. I'll have to limit myself to "essentials" . Silverbolt doesn't make the list.
i bought powerglide, but he is still in the box. i was considering taking him back... but i dunno. i am passing on most of the universe ones though. they just aren't that great...
also, i am so impressed with your renovations! you are a brave, brave guy! and it looks awesome too.
I'd buy Powerglide if he was colored right. I don't care about how realistic the color scheme is in his case because he doesn't look right in mostly gray.
that carl guy: My feelings exactly. Powerglide is RED. End of story. And I'm really not sure if I like that mold enough to buy the Henkei version for twice as much.
Now, the Universe Onslaught is the dog's bullocks.
Guys ... Silverbolt is AWESOME.
Great vehicle mode, great sounds, simple yet satisfying and TIGHT transformation (everything holds solid in place in both modes). Robot mode is sooooooo Silverbolt.
He is actually my favorite of the three Ultras.
