I was handed a new word today from a Brit and it is my destiny to spread it far and wide from the Cowlands and beyond.
That word?
Twunt!
Say it loud!
Say it proud!

HAHAAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH!
I hear that. A. LOT! It's a combo of Twat and C*nt... Makes it more polite in public! Funny though, as Twat and C*nt are the same thing are they not?
:o)

Yeah. . . my friends and I played that one out about three years ago.
I had no idea it was "new."
Really? Thanks for ruining my future.
I have never heard of it at all.
Perhaps it is new to England.
It started in Buffalo, went to England, and has now come full circle back to me.
Actually it started on an ex-pat's Parisian Diary! Must find the link and send.
It's rather like the word "Gunishment" really...

No, I think this was more of a case of great users of profanity thinking alike. It came after I remembered an old alternate Batman story called "Batman of the Future" which featured a character named Brane that was a contraction of Bruce Wayne. Discussion led to Twunt. The people I hung out with at the time were very creative with dirty words. There was even an epic poem composed called "The Anal Cyst." I can't find a copy anymore, but it had such great lines as:
"My rectum puckers, my scrotum lifts. . .
'BALLS BE STRONG!' I do insist."
So it wasn't pulitzer prize material. So what?
Another reason why I love reading this blog: for the educational value.
:)
I just learned a new word today.
Cool.
