Wow these are really cool. I do like the Legends size for the Cybertron series. Seeing these done in clear plastic is nice. Where did you get these?
Got all three in the normal Legends of Cybertron releases but out of the three, Starscream has to be easily my favourite, even if it is based on the Supreme Starscream figure...
These are nice though, imo you can't beat Translucent Transformers (Deliberately forgets about Botcon Classic Mirage)...
Maldroth: I got these at Botcon last month from one of the Japanese dealers.
Bruticus: Takara knows how to use the translucent plastic to their advantage. I can't say there's any real translucent Hasbro released figures that I really like. Sure, Takara has a few stinkers in my opinion but then again, Hasbro doesn't do much with translucent stuff in any line.
I have four Cybertron legends figures in a box that I bought from a Target store. They are fully transformable and great fun to play with. I hope that I will find legends Starscream sometime.
Nala, the only Hasbro translucent figures i've ever really liked have been the "I totally used the force to come back and talk to you" figures from SW because they somehow works...
Jason: Is that the 4-pack with the 2 movie characters? I'm waiting on that to clearance. I wish Hasbro had done something like the above pics (or anything different for that matter) to the 2 rereleases they put in that pack.
Bruticus: Yeah. I've seen those. S'bout the only way you can convey the Force dead.
I think he means the pack that went on sale a few months back, around Easter...I grabbed one for one of my kids. It had Prime, Megatron, Jetfire and Soundwave, all in Legends class.
Wang: Ah. I already had 'em individually so I skipped that one. If Hasbro had just done them slightly differently it would have been worth it.
Megatron in a G1 Galvatron color scheme, a black Prime, Soundblaster... anything different!
Wang, yes. I bought them for $2.50.
Nala, I haven't seen the 4-pack with the 2 movie figures at the Target store that I visit, but I plan to pass since I already have half of them. Same here - I wish the Cybertron figures were different in the new release.
I JUST figured that the feet on LOC Megatron fold "up" in vehicle mode to form the car's spoiler. For the last year I just thought he had a pair of huge wind brakes hanging off the back and I thought that was really retarded. That's a sign that you're too old for this stuff, when you have to start reading instructions to avoid mis-transforming something.
I like these translucent figures
