I've done that with my Unicron and Primus and must admit the effect is rather nice. I kept thinking to myself this is so lame that i'm hanging up toys for the illusion of flying, but it does look pretty good.
ugh I hate you... I still cant even find any Allspark Power deluxes yet (T_T;)
Its quite a fun toy both in robot and vehicle modes. The button that causes the blades to rotate works in both modes which makes up for the fact that he doesn't have hands.
I found him today along with Stockade and the Ironhide/Blackout Legends 2 pack.
Don't forget to save your reciept for the Hasbro Rewards thing for future discounts.
Mine arrived on Monday from Ebay. He's not too bad but the trigger mechanism that rotates his rotors seems to be pretty stiff (it's not nearly as good as the one that Blackout/Evac has). I heard a rumour that this Osprey was supposed to have been Blackout's alternate mode in the movie - I'm really glad they didn't go in that direction.
n10zguy: Then I won't tell you there were 3 on the shelf and that bluish Ironhide repaint.
I'm waiting for the black on, myself... that is if I can figure out who to actually order it from without paying a stupid mark-up.
I still like the guy, but I think the Tformers review hit the nail on the head - if they had just added hinges on the propellers - to form rudimentary claws - it would've gone from 'good' to 'perfect'.
(Oh, and you know, stating the obvious - released him in all-black here too would've been nice.)
Hey I just wanted to thank you for your site! My son, Max, is 4 and is a Transformer collector in themaking. He has over 30 already. We thoroughly enjoyed looking at your site this morning. I was amazed that Max would know the names of the Transformers before even seeing the whole picture! He's an addict. I am wondering if you could tell me where to find Beast Wars figures. We go to Target and Toys R Us but we have never seen the Cybertron and Beast Wars figures. We love the animal transformers. Any advice for rookies? We have ordered a few online, but they were not in great shape - the dinobots we got are so wobbly they can't even stand up on their own - but we heard Hasbro is releasing some new versions. Anyway, thanks again for the entertainment - we wer loving it this morning. Thanks again.
This transformer was a bit of a disapointment for me, its vehicle mode looks pretty sweet but the robot mode is ugly. I think it looks rediculus.
do you know of any websites that ship internationaly where I could buy a black repaint of incinerator? I live in Scotland and it's impossible to get hold of a lot of transformers figures here.
