Yeah, I saw them and put them back as well. With RAH Boba Fett being out and Halloween coming up I'm just sticking to my current "mental list" as far as Transformers buying goes and the only figures I really have on that list are US MP Starscream, MP Skywarp and the "Best Buy Exclusive" Ratchet. And I hear you on the new figures from the Animated Line. I'm definitely skipping that shit.

I'm actually looking forward to the new Animated figures...

For instance, once you get past the fact that Starscream is all painted up like Thundercracker he looks quite good i think...

Yes, I put back Recon Barricade too. I got Dropkick though about a month ago.

I may get anime starscream because I'm a fan of the tonight show w/ Jay Leno.

Yeah. I'm actually excited about the Animated line.

Quite frankly, the entire movie line, with maybe the exception of Rescue Ratchet and Blackout have been total duds for me.

I never wanted Recon Barricade but I put back Dropkick.

I actually had an overall decent "finding stuff" weekend. I didn't buy much though. The biggest disappointment was 30th Anniversary Serpentor in the GI Joe line. I really really was looking forward to this figure.

In real life it looks like knockoff ass. I passed on it after finding it. Would it have killed them to put some texturing on his armor?

I finally got 08 BB and Arcee so I'm mostly done with the Movie line. I need to get the Best Buy version of Megatron and I'll be happy with what I've collected from the movie line. I'm considering the new molds like Dropkick and Towline but I just don't care enough right now.

Not interested in the repaints in least.

I'm on the fence with the Animated line. I could ignore that one too unless my son likes the show. I'm waiting for the Universe line in fall 2008

Yeah, I've picked up that friggin' Dropkick about four times in the last two weeks and put him back. I ALMOST bought Barricade, but the toy in package had a really scratched up hood.

That damn Animated line better get here quick, because I'm getting closer and closer to violating my "NO MOVIE TOYS" oath. (Booster X10 and Skyblast don't count, right?)

Dropkick looks cool ... I can't believe y'all passed on him. Crazeeeeeee .....

Wow. Considering some of the crap that you DO buy, I'm surprised that you passed on a really cool figure like Dropkick.

What "crap" are you specifically referring to?

Dropkick is fucking sweet, although his shoulders don't want to peg in well. Longarm is pretty great, once you unscrew his gun and put it in his hands. They both have pretty unique looks, and I wouldn't be surprised at ALL if we got Longarm as Hoist in a future Botcon set.
