I wouldn't mind it if I was credited.
I always try to link back to any source for a photo I may use or at least make mention in the post or site, though I rarely use other people's stuff.

I used one of your pics of MP Ultra Magnus when I was posting a Want Ad for him at some Toy Classifieds site I found linked from a Transformers forum but I'm pretty sure I gave your site credit.
I also give you and your site credit for inspiring the name of my own Transformers toys blog (Transformers and Other Plastic Crack) and have a link to your page.

Received a FlickrMail using bad spelling and grammar saying "sor" ("sorry", apparently) and asking for permission. Based on the wordage, yes, pretty sure this is some dumb kid.
I declined permission, lectured them about stealing (plagiarism) and what they should have done (permission and/or citation), and said if they'd done the right thing in the first place, I would have let them keep it.
I don't care if it's a kid; they're swimming in the big boy pool now. If you're old enough to agree to the Terms of Use when you sign up, you're old enough to be held to them.
