Transformers Movie Brawl

Transformers Movie Brawl (close up)

Transformers Movie Brawl is the 1875th Transformer that I've acquired.

He arrived today all by himself in a huge box.

He's a really decent figure and if Beast Machines Tankor had an Earth-mode this would totally be him!

It is really nice to have a realistic tank mode and I shudder to think of how phenomenal it would be if somehow you could do other realistic G1 Combaticons like this. Imagine Bruticus!

He's my first real movie figure and I'm shocked I like him so much.

The only complaint, and this is structural, is that the small plastic "clip" that is on his shoulders that locks into the torso just won't stay in. This results in him being fairly flimsy.

He's pretty top notch though.

You should buy barricade and jazz too. trust me,they're awesome.

I'm so totally buying Blackout! And possibly Jazz too, given i loved him in 1985!

M.

blackout giv me orgazm

Yeah, I agree about the shoulder clips, but Brawl is still a great figure. FYI, there is going to be a leader class version of this guy.

I picked up Deluxe Wreckage, Voyager Ratchet & Blackout over the weekend. I think Wreckage is my favourite of the 7 TF Movie figures I own so far. He is way cool.

Didn't get any of the real gear guys - but after looking at your previous postings ... I am going to get Spyshot & the video game guy.

I went to 3 stores and only saw both Deluxe Bumbleee and Wreackage once. Could these guys be shortpacked?

Another FYI: Target has the TF movie figures on sale this week.

I can't wait to see the Leader Class version of this guy; how much more weaponry could they possibly hope to pack on?

Also, don't mention re-vamped Combaticons... every fan gets their dream figure (i.e. Black God Magnus ^_^) and mine is a Masterpiece Combaticon set. Maybe one day...

Brawl looks great but i'd have to get him in my hands first. As for Jazz i like him i just think his arms/hands suck and Wreckage is damn right sweet

Don't have Jazz, but the robot mode seems kinda lame ... plus, there's a "final battle" version of Jazz coming out. Think I'm gonna wait and see what that one looks like.

Folks:

I got Brawl from HTS after seeing him in Remy's Wreckage gallery. He's nifty and looks very good, though he's also lighter and perhaps more frail than my other two movie deluxes, Wreckage and Bonecrusher, who are both very solid. His shoulders hold together better if you push the black flap firmly into the matching notch behind his head, as shown in a post here (green arrow):

I also suggest folding the mine-plow into a chest grill, not tassels.

Brawl looks so good that I don't regret buying him at all, even though he's a bit fragile. The toy designers deserve plenty of respect here for a fine job of adapting and (especially) cleaning up Immortal Dreamworks' Perfect Design (which credit they most assuredly will not get), and the grumpy little head is especially great. He reminds me of my son when he gets up from his nap.

Nala: Hey man, has your package of TF movie toys not arrived yet from HTS? I have been anxiously awaiting your posts on them along with the always excellent & humourous critical commentary.
:)

Picked up Deluxe Bumblebee and I am pretty disappointed. It's OK, but the feet are lame.

Ratchet is a solid figure - excellent Voyager.

Still haven't opened Blackout yet.

I have to agree. I don't own this but my friend does, i transformed him with a bit reading from the instructions, his shoulder clip-thingies are dumb, i can't put it no matter how hard i push it...

Um..... Am I the only one that noticed that his name changed from the movie...? but yea the clipy things suck... cool figure though.
