Yeah, the one two punch of Moore and Gibbons never fails to satisfy. But the one about Abin Sur and Q'ull of the Five Inversions is still my favorite.
My favorite Alan Moore GL story is the one where he explains why the hell GL Abin Sur was traveling *inside* a spaceship when he could have just flown across the galaxy on his own power. Besides the obvious answer, I mean, that it wass a plot device to kill him off and introduce Hal Jordan.
Strangely enough, we're talking about the same story.
