So I haven't been able to get to watch last Saturday's "Blink" but I came across a link to what looks like the opening bumpber for this week's forthcoming episode.
*spoilers*
Captain Jack is back.
I can't say I'm that excited about his return to Doctor Who from Torchwood. I don't understand the BBC and Russel T Davies infatuation with him. It must literally be the character's gay/bi/whatever thing which just feels totally stale now.
"Utopia" might be good but unfortunately, the anthropologist in me begins to have issues with these "10 billion years in the future" type stories.
I know it is just a story. I know it is just cheesy sci-fi when it comes down to it and I shouldn't pay it much attention.
But the bipedal hominid form currently represented by Home sapiens sapiens would not look like it does today. Hell, it is highly unlikely that it would survive in any shape/way/form like it exists today.
That makes it hard for me to buy-in to these super-far-future stories.
It always will.

Huh... Im sorry... I totally spaced on everything you said after "Captain Jack is back"
Harkness.... /drool
IM THERE!!
