2007 will be a horrid year for the adult Transformer collector.
Maybe now is the time to pull out.

Ugh! Indeed...
Just when they draw me back in, Hasbro push me back out!
(Pardon my paraphrasing...)
M.
I like to wait and pull out after I'v..... screw that, pointless dirty talk.
Anyway, I cna just see some poor completist psycho. "Must find MIMSB Transformers Bike and Party hats...
I think the whole "movie machine" is just going to help me get over being a Transformer collector.
I really do.
Well, I imagine it can go one of two ways - either we get back to the business of regular TF toylines with cartoon tie-in; or we'll get locked into a sequel cycle and can expect to see TFs merrily clogging up the aisles with their friends, Superman Returns and the Fantastic Four.
Having said that, as so far as I can see Cybertron wiped the floor this Xmas with the peg-friendly TFs; so we might end up seeing an influx of smaller guys replacing all of the crazy movie merchandise.
BTW, see the awesome Japanese poster yet with Michael Bay's face on it? Beautiful.
I know exactly what you mean. It's getting to the point that I'm thinking (just thinking, currently, but becoming more and more of a possibility with every new piece of info) of getting rid of my Unicron Trilogy and Universe stuff, finishing what I want of G1, Alt/BTs and Beast Wars, and calling it a collection. I could use the space, and the self-loathing from owning any toys from a Michael Bay production is past the enjoyable stage.
Living in the past has never seemed quite so appealing.
We'll always have Takara *sniff* heh
For me I see it as a break to finally save some money :)
Yeah, I've noticed that everything I actually want this year is coming from Takara. Funny that. . .
I think I'm slowly warming up to the movie TF designs .... there's about 5 of 'em that I plan on buying. But I still hate the faces ....
Just when classics came in i was hooked again but after seeing the toyfair pics and what not, i think im with frowny "time to call it a collection" at least one that can do without the truckgun and the optimus helmet
In retrospect, Cybertron/Classics is not a bad spot to stop collecting TFs. We can all go out on a high note.
