Hey geeks.
Did any of you buy that Takara "Hybrid" Convoy that came out earlier this year?
I'm kind of debating with my internal monologue about getting the THS-02B Hybrid Style Black G1 Convoy that's popping up for preorders.

$85? Too rich for my blood for a small piece like that. It looks nice, but way out of my price range.
I picked up the Takara "Hybrid" Convoy a couple of months back and to be quite honest, apart from the size, IMO it's a great addition to any TF collection. I got mine from an ebay seller called "toyspark" and if i remember rightly it set me back about £30 inc P&P to the UK...
Been thinking of putting in a preorder for the THS-02B Hybrid Style Black G1 Convoy but i can't really justify to myself spending that amount of money...
It's too bad he don't come with a sword. As to THS-02 Convoy. . . he's a little flimsy but you expect that in something both that small and that posable. His truck mode is about as underwhelming as Robotmasters G1 Prime, but at least he has a trailer. I didn't mind paying $30 for it, but even though I'm all about Black Primes I'm finding the price a little prohibitive.
And THS-O2b secretly calls for you to buy the original with the extra heads and all...
He's pretty neat - the size makes him a little fragile (he'll take a good bump, but there are a few parts that'll break easily in the fingers of even the most delicate fans... BTW, watch out for those front wheel wells when you peg his forearms in!)
He's just the right size as an addition to the work desk though; and he also seems to be at just the right size to collide head on with WST Thrust...
yeah Im still pondering whether to get the original. Saw it being played with at botcon and my interest was very piqued. However $85 for a black version... shyeah right... Im still balking at paying anything less than $50 for a KissPlay Roddie... and I actually REALLY want that.
i bought one on ebay for 30$. i am getting it on the 30th. i want my friend to get the normal version so i can see how good the heads look.
