This will be the only time I ever mention this thing here. It is otherwise best left forgotten.
Barricade comes with this tiny Frenzy "thing" that folds up into the front of his car.
I debated about counting this in the collection since I typically value my PVCs and the like but I've decided against it.
I'd have to count that Scorponok PVC thingie that came with Blackout too and that would be pushing it.
Do you count mini cons?
Anyway, this thing is indeed lame and pointless. I can sort of see why they put it in there. It gives us a cheap easy Frenzy in proper scale (more or less) but it's still stupid and mine will pretty much never leave Barricade's chest ever again.
Yup! But I just don't feel as if he's worth it.
There was, alas, no way Hasbro could work their magic with (a) this particular character design at (b) this level of scale. It was going to end up, politely, being pants no matter what.
However, the idea of him sliding out of Barricade's chest doesn't seem like the best of the available flawed executions. Why not just have him as a boom box already, and arrange to him him in the trunk or back seat or something?
(That way we might have been spared Barricade's oversized transforming chest, too.)
