After all the many years and many incarnations of the character, I've never warmed to any version other than the original.
And I exclude Beast Megatron because I don't consider him the "same" in the general duality of opposing leaders that have existed in all series other than the Beast ones. Same goes for Gigatron, who Hasbro turned into RID Megatron.
I so needs to get me a Revoltech Megatron!!!

Yeah, this even inspired me to get the Convoy they did too. My first non transformable transformers since Pretenders. (Don't even try to call that transforming.) Well, except Transmutate.
I think that that the designer took a lot of Pat Lee as inspiration, but we still get a sweet-lookin' Megs.
I'll second that comment on the nth generation leaders too; I have a soft spot for Armada Megatron, but outside of that the newer versions just don't cut it.
