Robot Heroes ShockwaveEvebird sent me this link about a super deformed Shockwave coming out in that Robot Heroes line.

I normally would completely pass on this stuff but how often does Hasbro come out with an iteration of G1 Shockwave? (And no, I don't count the Alternator!)

There's a part of me that hopes Hasbro decides to do a 6" Titanium of him.

And there's a deeper darker more evil part of me that hopes Takara does a Masterpiece Shockwave.

At least I won't have to try to steal someone's overpriced chess piece now. I can settle for this little deformed one.

The Grimlock? He'll no doubt end up in the pile of KISS Player girls.

once hasbro runs with an idea, they REALLY run with it. there's no stopping them from reusing an idea till it's dead.

Yeah, the Hasbro toys cross-pollination has gotten a bit absurd. Star Wars TFs, Attacktix TFs mingling with Star Wars Attacktix and now Marvel Attacktix, Star Wars/Marvel/TF Heroes, Titaniums, etc. etc. About the only intentional cross-over they've avoided is the one I'd probably enjoy the most--G.I. Joe/TFs. And Hasbro owns both of those brands outright. What gives??!

Check your favourite TF news site - they just posted images of Robot Heros: G1 Optimus Prime, G1 Ravage, G1 Hot Rod, and G1 Shrapnel (although they are calling him Insecticon). Overall, I think they look great and will likely pick 'em up when I see them in the store.

Nala: I agree, let's hope they make a 6' Titanium Shockwave. That would be sweet.

evebird: "what gives" is that so totally and simply makes sense. if you'd like to see into the minds of any corporate thinkers, just read a few dilbert strips.

at the very least the bro gave us the sigma six line. they have the flagship lines that carry the products and then all these little widgets that reuse packaging, concepts and i assume factories.

those little guys would look great on dashboards.
