Do you see James Raiz's cover for IDW's Transformers Spotlight: Shockwave?
Alas, you cannot see how wet the front of my pants are now.
Shockwave is why I have this sick and disgusting habit.
Shockwave is why I spend entirely too much money on plastic crack when it should be going to far more important things.
Shockwave is joy.

That love is based on the Marvel Comics badass "Megatron's-gone-so-I'll-build-the-Constructicons-and-steal-Prime's-head" ridiculously effective Shockwave and not the slavish, ineffectual "Megatron's-gone-so-I'll-just-wait-by-the-telephone-like-a-15-year-old-girl-for-4,000,000-years" cartoon Shockwave, right?
Surprisingly, it is a combination of the toy (the first TF I ever saw and held), the comic story (not the art), the cover to the old issue #5, and Corey Burton's voicing of the character.
And don't mock show-Shockwave! He's so fucking cool he just hangs out in super space gun mode in Decepticon headquarters on Cybertron and ALSO shoots a mini-version of himself on more than one occasion!!!
