I've been thinking lately about snagging an Encore Omega Supreme when he's released later this year.
I mean, I've got a beautiful one that really only needs new stickers to be visually impressive but his electronics are iffy at best. Plus I had to repair his FCS back in 2005.
My 2nd one, while still lovable as only Omega Supremes can be, has seen better days.
To have one with fully operational electronics, perfect stickers, and no FCS would be kind of nice in a "oh they'll never reissue that so I'll just keep repairing old ones" kind of way.
Definitely pick up a noobie. Anyone who talks in 3rd Person like that would lurve to stomp around & crush some Constructicons.
Personally, I'm on the fence with Omega. Up until the "incident" in January when I was prepping the study - where the claw slipped off my until-then-excellent-condition Omega's arm and fell to the floor, breaking one of the three claws - I had an excellent specimen.
Even now I really just want a replacement claw. But it is hard to resist the shiny new boxed versions. It's like the situation with Ironhide - I have one (albeit not in the top condition of Omega) so it seems redundant to spend money on a reproduction. But hard to resist the shiny.
If Omega gets a redesigned head, I'm in. I doubt it will happen but one never knows.
Also, I hope for an eHobby Omega Sentinel. Hope, hope.
