Ya know, every day brings more movie repaints and/or repackagings.
I think this movie line of figures may be the most repackaged and repainted mainstream line of toys Hasbro has done with the TF brand.
Bad craziness.
I thank most of TF geekdom will go bonkers when those animated figures finally start hitting retail. Maybe even the kids too if they remember that they exist by that time.
Well... except those that really need the Special Battle Erectile Dysfunction exclusive of Optimus Prime.

I think the diorama's are kinda creative. I don't have the cash to drop on any of them but they look nice.
I was at Zellers today and there were no Transformers to be found. I was however shocked to find a bunch of 25th Anniversary GIJOE's. In Canada we tend to get the shaft when it comes to cool toys.
That Sunstreaker looks awesome btw! When's Classics 2.0 coming out? I picked up the original Sunstreaker back before Christmas at an antique store for $10. He was in decent shape all things considered.
NOOOO!!! The general fandom is going to be TIRED of Transformers when the Animated toys come out. That way I'll be able to find whatever figure I want whenever I want.

I finally bit the bullet and bought Evac today. I told myself that I'd either get that one or Cliffjumper (which ever I saw first) and that would be it for the movie line for me. None of these other repaints appeal to me and I'm pissed about the friggin' "bend over and grab your ankles" (aka "Premium") figures. I understand that Hasbro didn't realize the movie line was going to be THIS popular, but still...
A us release date is not yet known for c 2.0
Though they are slated for release in early may in the UK.
Good call Heavyarms - I too, hope that the general non-die hard TF fans will have 'moved on' from collecting TFs leaving plenty of TF animated in store stock for me to get!!
