Yay for promo pictures!!!

Of course the only way I'll be able to see the Children in Need short is from somebody posting it on the internets but I can't wait until this appears!!! Damn you intellectual property rights peoples!!!

Now I'm no huge fan of the 5th Doctor, being he's a part of the early 80s stuff I find so hard to watch. (And yes, I'm sorta kinda haphazardly paying attention to the Snakedance tape I found at the libary the other day.) But I gots ta admit I'm a sucker for fanwank shit like various Doctors meeting up!

I wish they'd recreate a CGI 1st or 2nd Doctor to serve as the TARDIS' hologram warnings!

If the chameleon circuit can be stuck as a 50s police box there's no reason that other systems can't be malfunctioning.

If they can bring Jor-El back in that boring ass Superman Returns flick they should be able to bring Hartnell or Troughton back in the TARDIS somehow.

Just don't bring back the 6th Doctor. That would hurt.

One of these days I'll get around to actually watching Dr. Who.

I recently watched the 3 seasons of the new Dr Who and am really enjoying it so far. Not an ep goes by when I am not either laughing my butt off or enthralled by the story. AWESOME AWESOME show. I've been trying to find a lot of the older stuff, but it's difficult as it was never well preserved, which really sucks.

Everything from 1970 to the present exists.

Unfortunately, I'm a fan of the 2nd Doctor and 80% of his episodes are forever lost.

If you can find it, I highly recommend the 2nd Doctor story The Mind Robbers for shere insanity. The first episode, done on like zero dollars, blows my mind.

Sure it is paced like a 60s show and has 60s sensibilities but I like those a lot better than the stuff from the 80s.

Zircor, for old Dr Who episodes try TV Links or Stage 6

They're normally DivX so you need the Webplayer installed in your browser but otherwise they work fine and there's a wide variety of the older series to choose from...

I've said it before and I'll post it again: Tom Baker, 4th Doctor was the best IMHO!!

Lies! Lies! Lies!

*runs around with fingers in ears*

Patrick Troughton was the best Doctor and Jaime and Zoe were the best companions!

It is a fact! You all just have to accept it!

I know it is hard, but you do!

It is the only way you are getting into heaven!

There's lots of confusion out there on the matter.

Some would have you believe that only Mormons go to heaven. Nope!

Some would think that accepting Christ Jesus as your personal savior is the way? Nope!

Some would go so far as to tell you that having to pick up explosive dachshund bombs over 1/2 of your kitchen floor grants you automatic amnesty from hell! Nope!

Heaven is found through the Second Doctor, Jaime's kilt, and Zoe's skin tight pantsuit!

You can take THAT to the bank my friend!

Fourth Doctor? What nonsense!

The next thing I know is you'll be telling me that having a badge for mathematical excellence may save your life you are on a spaceship careening towards prehistoric Earth!

You are all on drugs. PERTWEE FOREVER.

He's basically Time Lord Hugh Hefner, except not as skeezy and more kickass. How can you not love that? He's the cosmos' cool uncle who takes it to concerts and sneaks it beers.

Yes, at this very moment I'm currently knocked up on Oxycodone for my back but I'm not knock'n Pertwee.

I love all the Third Doctor stuff I've watched.

Quite a lot of it in fact.

Joe Grant is my third favorite companion.

and Jo Grant is your second?

Joe Grant is the male version of Joe from Pete's Earth.

1. Jamie
2. Zoey
3. Jo
4. Sarah Jane
5. Liz Shaw
6. Susan
7. Barbara
8. Ian
9. Vicki
10. Tegan

Wait, you put Tegan in your top 10? And Vicki too?

No Romana or K-9?

I don't know why but I like Tegan for some reason.

Vicki sorta of just replaced Susan as-is so I'm assuming she's default.

I have only really seen Romana I and that's it.

I kind of consider K-9 more of a prop than a companion really.
