The Fantastical Adventures of Jesus of Gallifrey?

We will be looking at the idea of Jesus as a Lord of time and showing who Jesus was and the different images of him throughout time.
Well, according to Christians texts, Jesus sorta-kinda regenerated there at the end.

Companion-wise, I've always found Judas Iscariot to be the most interesting of the original 12 "companions" and I've always felt sorry for the one James getting religiously/historically-shafted since he's likely Jesus' real brother. So there's my Zoe Heriot and Jamie similarity.

This does bring up something I never thought about though...

Theologically, Judas is eternally damned due to his refusal to seek God's forgiveness, not for the act of his betrayal. But really, if the whole plan was for Christ to die, wasn't Judas just playing the part written for him? How do you ask forgiveness for your own destiny?

That part always really bugged me, and I've never really gotten a straight answer about it from the Church officials I've asked. . .

Wow never thought I'd make a reply like this on this blog.

If you are interested in reading material on Judas try on of the gnostic texts of the Gospel of Judas. It provides some interesting things on the story you know. Its a good read for acedemic purposes. I'm rather neutral on the whole subject but Frowny you may find the read interesting. There is also a Gospel of Mary.

Interesting find Nala.

I've read most surviving apocryphal texts and quite a bit of surviving gnostic material, especially the reconstructed Gospel of Judas from last year.

Enoch is one of my favorites.

It still amuses me that so much of the Protoevangelium of James is incorporated into the Polish Roman Catholicism I was originally a part of.

I've read bits of the Gospel of Thomas and have heard of the other two but it's been a while since I've been knee deep in Christian Apocrypha. I sort of grew disinterested in Western Religion for the most part when I discovered Chuang Tzu and the Hua Hu Ching. But I'll go looking for those. . . thanks Maldroth.
