It is true. The 1980s Cybermen suck.

So I'm laying here in bed rewatching "The Five Doctors" and I think one of the greatest moments of all time in Doctor Who is in this episode.

There's just something so awesome about The Master being handed a "recall" device by the High Council and all it is is a Glade Stick-Up spray-painted gold.

Anybody that lived in the 1980s would probably immediately recognize it.

Totally awesome!

Alas, there's barely any Jamie and Zoe in it, and the fact that Tom Baker doesn't appear sucks the balls and somehow ruins it a bit.

And it has the sucky 1980's era Cybermen and not the great late 60s versions.

"Tom Baker doesn't appear sucks the balls and somehow ruins it a bit."

I felt this way too when I saw this episode-series ... especially since he is my fav Doctor.
Lame-o.

It just misses so much with out him.

It angers me even more to read that originally it was supposed to be different teams trying to reach the tower.

1st Doctor and Susan
2nd Doctor and Jamie
3rd Doctor and Jo
4th Doctor and Sarah Jane

That would have be so great.

Then again, I'm a sucker for any ability to be able to us the 2nd Doctor, Jamie, Zoe, and Jo Grant in stories.

"Stick it to 'em with Stick Ups!"

Great, what's next, an O'Boises reference? Allusions to Spy-Tech?
