He really looks great, but I’m not big on repaints unless I can get them on sale or clearance, so should I wait to get the inevitable Starscream repaint or go with Thundercracker?

I think he's good enough to own both. But when it comes to repaints, the Seekers are the only ones that'd I'd buy all of.
