That reminds me. Did you blatantly rip-off the Satellite of Love in naming yer house?

Actually, the "at love" moniker in my life predates MS3K by years.

The first House of Love was a house many of my friends rented on OSU campus back in 1989 and was essentially named so for the amount of sex that occurred there.

My apartment became jokingly called the Apartment of Love and then when I moved the Apartment of Love II.

In 1994, when Max Power and I and some others lived together, our place became the House of Love II likely because of the amount of sex that occurred there. Well... at least for some of the residents.

I lived there until I bought my first house, the House of Love III in 2003 and that of course contained the never to be duplicated Attic of Love.

However, in retrospect, due to way that my peak house remodeling blogging happened during that time, that house truly will be forever associated with in my mind as the House of Love.

And since that house can never be duplicated, it being my first house I bought and owned and one that I spend so much blood and toil on, it hasn't felt right really to call the new place the House of Love IV since it doesn't quite have as much love per square foot as the House of Love III nor do I think it ever will.

So... the new house?

This is now the era of The Domicile.
